About
The Kelvin D. Isom II Impact Scholarship Fund was established by Mr. Kelvin Isom in 2018. This scholarship is for incoming college freshmen, and sophomores attending Postsecondary education in Pennsylvania; Georgia; or the District of Columbia. Mr. Isom, born and raised in the deep south of Atlanta, attended college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he was heavily involved in many non-profit organizations, leadership positions and community outreach initiatives for 15 years. Currently residing in the District of Columbia, he is devoted to improving various policy issues. Upon completing his studies at CCAC, The University of Pittsburgh, Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, and University of Pittsburgh School of Law, he understood the value and significance of community involvement and diversity investment in support of future students.
This scholarship aims to aid those young men and women growing up in impoverished and underrepresented neighborhoods exemplifying academic excellence and community involvement.
The purpose of this scholarship is to ensure that the most deserving students have additional support, supplementary to their opportunity to learn. It is through scholarships that financially disadvantaged students are given the chance to develop and gain a superior education.

We believe all students can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
